Smudging actually kills airborne pathogens

This is taken from Gardiningsoul.com. "The Science of Smudging: What Sage Does to Bacteria Recent research suggests that there may indeed be scientific evidence to support the idea that smudging can help purify the air. One study, published in the  Journal of Ethnopharmacology  in 2007, examined the effects of burning medicinal herbs, including sage, on airborne bacteria. The Study: Air Purification with Medicinal Herbs The research study, led by Dr. Narendra Singh and his team, investigated the antimicrobial potential of burning traditional medicinal herbs. Hannah Janicke is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and system-challenger based in California. Her recent work, rooted in the “Heroine’s Journey” framework, is a direct confrontation with systemic corruption. She doesn't just observe injustice; she meticulously documents it and holds it accountable, both in the studio and in the courtroom.

This mission is forged from lived experience. Janicke’s forthcoming memoir and art series is a raw excavation of her path as a gifted kid navigating the dark underbelly of institutional fraud, from the predatory rehab-industrial complex to the carceral system. She translates the often-invisible mechanics of systemic abuse into a tangible, human story.

Her methodical pursuit of truth continues in her ongoing, legal battles against corporate giants. She is currently in small claims court with AT&T, using their own internal documents to expose what she defines as unconscionable "bait and switch" schemes.

Janicke’s work, however, is not a story of victimhood but one of profound transformation. A poet, an aspiring pilot, and a real estate agent, she embodies a life rebuilt on principles of radical freedom and tangible, self-earned security. She transforms the raw data of legal filings and personal testimony into a powerful narrative of resilience, proving that the most compelling art is the act of reclaiming one's own story.
