Epiphanies Part II
The Architecture of the New Self
It is much easier to start tidying up than to continue wallowing in your mess. A cluttered space taints the ability to interact with your environment effectively- whether that be relaxing or creating. Your home is a living, breathing ecosystem. Take care of it like you would a child.
If you feel stuck in the aftermath of trauma because your reality has become static, apply the Rule of Inversion: do the exact 180-degree opposite of your current pattern. If you have been guarding the experience as a secret, find the courage to speak or write it publicly. If you have been narrating the trauma incessantly to anyone who will listen, commit to total silence on the subject for a time. Step out of the familiar cycle and see if the weight of it doesn’t simply begin to evaporate once you stop feeding it the same energy.
You are exactly as God created you. Nothing you've done or that has been done to you can change that. Take comfort in this. Likewise, your enemy is exactly as God created him. Make peace with this. As you are lifted up, you lift up everyone else. This is the law of collective elevation: Because we are all interconnected, your spiritual growth naturally elevates all peoples. Your true essence is immutable; it cannot be tarnished by earthly experiences or actions.
The best advice is what not to do.
Money cannot be wasted. It can only be circulated because it is an energy. Refusing to invest in your life to avoid "wasting money" is as absurd as refusing to eat to save food. In both cases you starve while the fuel sits stagnant.
No matter what happens, you'll always be okay. If the education system doesn't reform- you'll be okay. If the economy collapses- you'll be okay. Nothing in the physical world can touch your peace. Your peace is not dependent upon your circumstance.
When you give all your attention to the past, reflecting on better days or resenting the worse ones, you miss the eternal present. The present moment has the power to rewrite past and future.
The same mindset that invented the quality of "waste," also invented the concept of "scarcity." There is no such thing as waste. And there is only abundance. Stop trying to fight a fabricated battle; it is blinding you from what's truly real.
If you need to stay at an AirBNB long term, ask the owner if you can pay him personally at a discounted rate. It's a win-win: you get a cheaper rate, and the owner gets to pocket all the money without AirBNB taking a cut.
To move past a trauma, you must accept it first. This sounds obvious, but the most simple things are the best answers, albeit not the easiest.
Human brains love to overcomplicate and unnecessarily separate and categorize things. Everything is interrelated. All illness, or dis-ease, is caused by the mind.
